Wedding Series: Wedding Centerpiece Edition

Welcome back to the third part of our Wedding Series… the Wedding Centerpiece Edition! If you haven’t already, make sure to check out last week’s Wedding Boutonniere Edition.

We love creating centerpieces for weddings. They’re always a main focal point throughout the reception, and we love when the guests are able to take these home at the end of the night. It’s like taking a piece of the wedding day home with you. Here’s a roundup of our favorite centerpieces, from the head table, the sweetheart table, and the guest tables.

One of the most cost effective ways to create a centerpiece for the sweetheart table is to gather all the bride and bridesmaids bouquets. We love how these bouquets come together to create a soft and romantic centerpiece for the sweetheart table.

Red is such a prevalent color for Chinese weddings, so we wanted to create a centerpiece that would stand out and compliment the red tablecloth. The inspiration for this wedding centerpiece was to keep it earthy and bright.

We love how adding multiple types of flowers into a centerpiece draws different viewers eyes to different parts of the centerpiece. It also creates a lot of color and texture that you don’t get with a single flower.

This is another head table centerpiece that highlights different flowers. What makes this one stand out is the stark contrast of the light and dark that these different flowers bring.

We love creating an interesting guest table centerpiece, and the blue tablecloths allowed us to create a wedding centerpiece with height to stand out and make a statement.

Another way to create an interesting element to your wedding centerpieces is to create different levels. We love how simple, yet elegant this tulip centerpiece is, and how the different levels creates the idea of waves.

We wanted to create a focal point in this wedding centerpiece using lilies to draw attention. With the brightest colors in the middle, this centerpiece leads your eyes straight to the bride and groom.

Orchids are some of the most beautiful flowers, with their long stems and multiple blooms. This wedding centerpiece focuses on the bride and groom, with the orchid blooms cascading down and making the centerpiece look bigger.

Succulents are becoming popular in wedding florals, though at times it’s difficult to make them stand out because they can oftentimes blend in with the leaves. By adding roses to create a pop of color the succulents stand out more and photograph better.

One of our favorite ways to add excitement to a wedding centerpiece is to create illusions. From afar, this centerpiece looks like it is floating, and once you get closer, see that it’s actually a clear glass holding it up.

Wedding centerpieces add continuity to your wedding decorations, and we want to help find the perfect mix of flowers to create the wedding centerpieces of your dreams. Let us know what combination of flowers make up your favorite centerpieces!
